PART TAKES SECOND CLASSIC TITLE

John Part made it two-in-a-row claiming a second Ireland Open Classic title in 2002.
The Canadian beat England's Andy Jenkins in the Final 7-3 in Donegal to once again prove that he is among the very best players on the circuit this year.
.
Jenkins who has been through some lean times of late played exceptional darts on the way to the final, seeing off Colin Lloyd, Shayne Burgess and Les Fitton in the earlier rounds.

But he could not overcome 'Darth Maple' who picked up his fourth PDC ranked title of the year.

There were good performances also from veteran Reg Harding who reached the semis along with Les Fitton, while Jamie Harvey, Tom Kirby, Mark Holden and Keith Deller all picked up valuable points with their quarterfinal appearances.
