STORY DIGEST

Even before the history began, fierce battles between god and Satan over the supremacy had taken place on Earth continually. Their battle seemed to last forever, yet finally god defeated Satan and dispelled him to hell. Although severely damaged god lost his ultimate and immaculate form, and was broken down into seven Shogozyus.

Later in the dinosaur era--early mankind already existed in the Earth. Consisting of five tribes, those ancient people developed civilization and enjoyed peaceful livings. Then the repulsive sorceress Bandora appeared and started the war against humans. With her massive power, Bandora devastated the Earth and destroyed the lives of almost completely--until five shogozyus, which ancient people worshiped as their gods, emerged onto the Earth to save the world; Bandora, along with her four henchmen, was captured and sealed onto a deserted planet. However, heads of the five tribes, anxious about the possible return of Bandora,selected the best warrior from each tribe, and put the chosen five into suspended animation to safeguard the future world.

...and 170 million years have passed.

Humans now have developed enough civilization and technologies to explore one planet approaching to the Earth-- and eventually, they have broken the seal of Bandora. Revived Bandora settles on the moon and targets the Earth once again. Yet, the five warriors from the past-- Geki, Goushi, Dan, Boy, and Mei-- make their returns as well. They team up as the mighty heroes called Zyurangers, and stand up against Bandora's ambition.

Zyurangers have two missions; the first is to fight against the evil and protect the lives on Earth and the second is to find the pair of dinosaur eggs preserved secretly to this date. Zyurangers experience numerous battles and challenges after another on their missions; they obtained Legendary Weapons, activated Dinotankor and Daizyujin, and so on. Zyurangers and Daizyujin have successfully kept Bandora's evil plans fruitless, although they have lost trace of the Dinosaur egg during the battle.

Then along came a twist: Burai, Geki's older brother, gets himself released from suspended animation. Yet Burai is obsessed with hate for Geki; Burai even cooperates with Bandora and assults Zyurangers. After intense battles Burai comes back to his humane self, and Zyurangers get strong new allies--Burai his Shogozyu Dragon Caesar, and Gouryuujin. However, Zyurangers are not aware that Burai's life is already running short...

Bandora yet strikes back; she executes the ultimate black magic to bring Satan from the hell. Satan descends on the Earth to wreak havoc, and his massive power overwhelms Daizyujin. Finally, Zyurangers succeed to revive Kyuukyoku Daizyujin, immaculate form of ancient god, and dispel Satan from Earth for once.

During the battle, however, Burai secret gets revealed to others, including Bandora. Bandora targets Burai ever since, and despite of Zyurangers' desperate efforts, Burai ends his young life.

In turn, Zyurangers finally get the Dinosaur eggs back under their protection. When the eggs are about to hatch, Bandora brings out her final battle against humans and Zyurangers. Bandora summons Satan once again, and Zyurangers face the unprecedented crisis because they lose their powers and Shogozyus. Zyurangers yet do not give up on their hopes; they rescue their Shogozyus and regain their powers, and Kyuukyoku Daizyujin defeats Satan at last. Bandora and her gang are sealed again, and as peace finally arrives on Earth, Zyurangers successfully complete their mission and depart to the land of gods.
