Airbrushing your models allows you
to get a smooth paint finish and leaves no brush marks. Although
it opens new doors to making your model look better, it mostly
depends on your skills and equipment.
I've had no experience with any other airbrushes other than my
Tamiya HG spray work. But I can tell you that I've heard regrets
from people who have bought cheap single action airbrushes and
wished that they had bought a better one after they used the
more expensive ones.

color and airbrushed over with the base color. Notice the subtle
changes of the color gradient around the edges.

base color and then airbrushed with a darker color on top. It
gives a weathered type of look to the surface.
