Airbrushing your models allows you to get a smooth paint finish and leaves no brush marks. Although it opens new doors to making your model look better, it mostly depends on your skills and equipment.

I've had no experience with any other airbrushes other than my Tamiya HG spray work. But I can tell you that I've heard regrets from people who have bought cheap single action airbrushes and wished that they had bought a better one after they used the more expensive ones.
