Henfield History Group (West Sussex, England) was formed in the early summer of 2000 by a small group of like-minded people, with the aim of encouraging and assisting research into all aspects of local history, including family history.
Meetings of the Group are held (usually) on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at St. Peter's Church House, Church Lane, Henfield, starting at 8 p.m. (parking is available at rear of Hall). Membership of the group is by subscription at the rate of £10 per annum (renewable in April) for a single person, £15 per annum for a couple, and admission for non-members is £2 per evening. Everyone is welcome, and refreshments are included!
Elected Officers of the group are: Chairman - Steve Robotham, Treasurer - Alan Barwick, Secretary - Julia Dew, and as general committee members: Sally Caunt, John Vallance and John Whiting. The Committee would welcome any suggestions for future topics / speakers.
We hope that Henfield residents past and present will visit this site and perhaps share their memories and knowledge with us.
